Academic writers are expected to achieve a certain style that corresponds with their level of education. Too often, scholars focus on making their documents grammatically correct, which is important, while neglecting nuanced issues of style.Yet, stylistic aspects of writing can hinder the clarity and readability of research ideas.
This session presents strategies for writing more concisely while maintaining a scholarly voice. The session includes examples for participants to correct.
