

Readability Workshop Description
The scholarly writing spectrum includes writing that is too informal at one end and completely inaccessible at the other end. When presenting expertise or research, many academic authors unintentionally impede the readability of their works with cumbersome language and complicated sentence structure.
This session focuses on nuanced issues of style that will help scholarly writers improve the clarity and readability of their ideas when revising documents. This interactive session includes specific examples of the principles discussed and invites participants to apply the strategies explained.
